Please pray for the victims of the tragedy at Virginia Tech and their families.
Sharon and I decided that we needed to go down to the Virginia Tech campus
on Saturday, April 21. Even though we graduated 30 years, it has always felt like
home, and we felt compelled to go home at this time of deep sorrow.
I think being there and seeing all the memorials helped us to start the
healing process. It was amazing to see all the posters and signs of
support from schools and people all across the country. I took pictures of
lots of the memorials/remembrances, and have put them online. There are
about 270 photos, and you probably want to have some tissues near by when
you look at them. They are very emotional pictures.
I've got a new email address - firstname.lastname@example.org. So please ignore the old address that is still on the bottom of many of the pages.
I've been uploading pictures from our trip to the Czech Republic, Germany, and Austria, and now have close to 700 photos online! Click here to see them. And there are still some more that I need to upload.
You can find pictures from our trips to Massachusetts, Florida, and New Mexico (Summer 2006) at this site - frank54.myphotalbum.com.
Sharon and I attended a Lutheran
Marriage Encounter weekend in March 2006. It was
a great experience and we recommend it for every married couple!
I'm now working at Northrop
Grumman Mission Systems in Dahlgren, VA. I'm doing Software Safety Analysis for the Navy's
DDG-1000 program (formerly known as DD(X)). The job requires quite
a bit of traveling. I've been to Bath ME, Tewksbury MA, Portsmouth RI, Orlando FL, Dam Neck VA,
Minneapolis MN, Pascagoula MS, Bedford MA, Sudbury MA, Marlborough MA, Washington DC, St. Petersburg FL, and Dan Diego, CA.
Sharon is now in her SIXTH year at
Courtland High School in
